The design
While each piece of this set is a simple tapering shape, together they form an intentional entity ruled by very specific geometric rules.
The pieces nest inside each other, their height varies in a constant rhythm while their wideness is determined by the circular profile. The tapering wall converge on a distant point and determine a progressive opening from the taller to the lower piece.
As I worked on this desing, I came to see it as an abstraction of a blooming flower, where the petals follow a similar geometric expression.
